Birthing Kits Workshop

The Birthing Kits Workshop is held annually and involves a group of volunteers working together to help assemble birthing kits that contain basic necessities for childbirth. These kits are designed for the use of women who give birth at home in remote regions of developing countries.
We are excited to announce that Insight will once again be holding our popular birthing kits workshop!
This year, we will be assembling 1400 basic birthing kits to help mothers in developing countries, and we need your help. Every kit you assemble will directly reduce the danger a woman ad her baby faces during childbirth.
Come along (and bring a friend or two) for a fun and relaxed morning. Come at any time, for any duration of time – attendance is free! Morning tea and lunch from Dough Bakery will be provided.
Each kit consists of: a sheet of plastic, a pair of gloves, soap, a clean blade, string and gauze.
