Birthing Kits Workshop

Ever thought about getting more involved in global health? Taking the first step to help the countless lives of real women and children?

In this non-threatening environment, feel free to come along and learn a little more about the opportunities we can offer those in need. We will be assembling over 1000 basic birthing kits for developing countries and will need your help.

Tasty food and drinks will be provided.

WHAT: Assembly of basic needs for a clean, safe births en masse; A sheet of plastic, a pair of gloves, some soap, a clean blade, a piece of string and some gauze.

WHY: Because we can. Because the incredible danger to women and their babies during childbirth can be so easily reduced.

WHO: Although traditionally attended by health students, this event is open to all. Attendance is free.
