How Insight Offers Help
As well as providing therapy, we deliver a range of psychological services such as IQ assessments, memory and dementia screening, medicolegal reports, organisation and program evaluation, psychological safety consulting, and workshops (e.g. stress management and improving well-being). What to expect from Insight’s Specialist Psychological Therapy
What is the difference between a Psychologist and a Clinical Psychologist? At Insight, we are Clinical Psychologists, which means we have undertaken extra training at university level to be awarded a Master of Psychology (Clinical) or a Doctorate. In addition, we have work in the public mental health service to be exposed to a wide variety of mental illnesses and other difficulties and therefore gained experience in multiple assessment and treatment approaches. This work is initially undertaken while being supervised by experienced clinical psychologists to review our practises. Finally, as clinical psychologists we are required to have ongoing specialist professional development to improve our knowledge by attending courses, lectures, or conferences and reading the latest journals. |
